Solar Companies in Nassau County, NY

Solar installers should hold a NABCEP certification and proper New York State electrical and home-improvement licensing. Ask for license numbers and confirm they're current before signing a contract.

Understand the difference between buying your system outright, financing it, leasing it, or entering a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). Each has different tax-credit eligibility, long-term savings, and ownership of the equipment.

Check both the equipment warranty (typically 25 years on panels) and the installer's workmanship warranty. Ask whether the contract includes a production guarantee and what happens if the system underperforms.
